Work with David · Mainthread
Show me the job that keeps getting in the way.
A spreadsheet passed around the team. A calculation done again by hand. A customer question answered from three different places. Start with the job as it happens now. We can work out what software would actually help.

01 / The work
One real task is a good place to begin.
I build tools and websites around the person using them. We start with the part you can show me, then decide on a first result you can judge.

02 / From conversation to something useful
You don’t need a software brief.
- 1
Show me the job
Tell me what happens now and where it slows down. We can look at the real steps together.
- 2
Agree on the first result
Before building, we choose what would be useful to try, what is in scope, and what it would cost.
- 3
Try it on real work
A working version has to make sense in your hands. What we learn from using it guides what comes next.
03 / Cost and scope
The price follows the job.
We begin by finding out whether there’s a useful project here. Cost depends on the steps involved, the information the tool needs, what it connects to, and what it takes to keep running.
We agree on the first result, scope, and cost before building. If a full version is more than you need or can spend, we can look for a smaller first piece.
Community work
For work that helps people.
I also want to help organizations spend less time fighting their tools and more time with the people they serve.

A few sentences are enough.
What happens now? What would you like to work better? If you have a budget in mind, include it.
